accompanied by over 130 3D models, animations, voiceovers, descriptions and full transcriptions, in order to clearly understand Leonardo?s work. [/center]
BASIC FUNCTIONS
Click on the images with the left mouse button to open the 3D animations.
Once open and depending on the image, you can rotate, animate and hear the audio explanation by using the icons that appear at the side of the screen. To return to the page just click on the 3D model.
To see transcriptions of Leonardo?s writing, click on the text. Once the transcription is open you can choose between the diplomatic version (exact copy of Leonardo?s words) and the critical version (in modern Italian). You can move the transcription window to any point on the page so that you can compare the version with Leonardo?s text and try to read his writing.
To see the ultra high resolution photos specially produced from the original manuscript for this title, click in the white space on the page. Once this section is open you can navigate to any point on the page by holding down the left mouse button and moving the cursor. The size of the enlarged photos cannot be altered.
Some pages have sanguine (red) drawings. If you click on these you can see a reconstructed 3D model of the drawing (flowers, plants, a human limb and a man).
