Action-Adventure starring Bruce Willis (Armageddon, The Last Boy Scout). John McClane, a man struggling with his marriage, gets trapped in a high-rise building by a gang of "terrorists" planning a major robbery. The terrorists are holding many employees hostage, including his wife, Holly. John, a New York City police officer, battles the terrorists, while arguing with deputy LAPD chief Dwayne Robinson, who is leading dozens of LAPD officers who are unable to do much to stop the terrorists. Eventually, John manages to save most of the hostages while killing most of the terrorists and thwarting their plan.
